Ganeshotsav Begins, Devotees Bid Farewell to Lord Ganesha

The 10-day long Ganeshotsav festival began on Tuesday, August 30, 2023, with great enthusiasm and devotion across Maharashtra. Devotees thronged temples and pandals to seek blessings from Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed god of wisdom and prosperity.

In Mumbai, the Lalbaugcha Raja, one of the most famous Ganesh idols in the city, was unveiled on Tuesday morning. Thousands of devotees lined up for hours to get a glimpse of the deity.

The festival will culminate on September 9, 2023, with the immersion of Ganesh idols in rivers and the sea.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Visits Ayodhya

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited Ayodhya on Tuesday, August 30, 2023, and offered prayers at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple.

Kejriwal's visit comes ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, where the Ram temple issue is expected to be a major factor.

The Delhi CM said that he prayed for the well-being of the people of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
