Joint Venture for EURO 2024
Establishment of a New Entity
Today, in Frankfurt am Main, the German Football Association (DFB) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) announced the formation of a joint venture company for the upcoming EURO 2024 tournament, to be hosted in Germany.
Collaboration and Responsibilities
The new company, EURO 2024 GmbH, will be responsible for the operational planning and implementation of the tournament. This includes aspects such as venue management, ticketing, marketing, and media operations.
The joint venture combines the expertise and resources of both the DFB and UEFA. UEFA Events SA, a subsidiary of UEFA, and DFB EURO GmbH, a subsidiary of the DFB, will be the shareholders of the new company.
